Truepill

As the founding product designer at Truepill, I had the unique opportunity to watch the company grow from a small startup into a Silicon Valley unicorn.

Along the way, I gained a ton of experience across virtually all aspects of design - from creating some of the first Truepill slide decks to designing complex interfaces for the expansive suite of Truepill products.

EMR (Electronic Medical Record)

As the design team grew, I was assigned to lead design for our internal EMR platform. Truepill saw a need for a light-weight, program oriented telemedicine-specific EMR that didn't compete with the likes of Cerner or myChart.

The product started off relatively simple with only asynchronous consults, but as our client's programs became more and more complex it quickly grew into a fully functioning, feature-heavy EMR.

Working alongside another talented designer and user researcher, we conducted regular feedback sessions with our internal patient ops team to better understand their workflows, present designs we were working on for feedback, and discuss new features that our clients requested.

EMR Video Conferencing

When we added video synchronous visits to the EMR, we quickly realized we would need an internal video conferencing feature.

I worked alongside another designer and an engineer to rapidly iterate and create a Truepill branded video conference feature (like Google Meet or Zoom).
